Hotaru no Hikari

Hotaru Amemiya is an OL, lives alone in her home and seems to be normal at work. But at home she drinks a canned beer every evening, rolls around in her living room and wears jogging pants and t-shirts. Secretly she dreams to meet the man of her dreams, but her laziness every evening is holding her back from finding him.
One day her boss Seiichi Takano appears at her home, because her home belongs to his parents and he wanted to go back there after his divorce. Since they don't find a better solution, they decide to live in the home together without telling their coworkers. Her new flatmate can not understand why she is acting like that at home, because he is an orderly man with good manners. At work Amemiya falls in love with the furniture-designer Makoto Teshima and vice versa. Now the problems begin for real, because Makoto must not learn that Amemiya is living together with her manager and she is scared, that her lifestyle might put him off. Does their relationship have any future? And what does her manager say about all that?
