This crazy comedy-mystery-series is about the magician Naoko Yamada, who lost her father (who was magician, too) as a child, and Jiro Ueda, who will die in five days because of mystic powers. He doesn't believe in mystic powers but is nevertheless concerned, so Yamada helps him to solve this case.
Since Ueda didn't die, Yamada and Ueda are traveling through japan to expose some frauds. Most of the work is done by Yamada, but Ueda gets praised for their work, he also believes he solved the cases mostly on his own...
