Synopsis:
Tamiko Narisawas sick, jealous husband is preventing her from making true her dreams of being a jewelry designer. At his work in the ryokan "Hosenkaku", where she is only working to support his husband, a guest convinces her to get rid of her old life and to become jewelry designer. To do this she sets fire to her house and murderes her husband with that fire.
After an affair with a politician she really becomes a jewelry designer, but as a wealthy jewelry shop owner one can get some problems from ones past life. So a young opponent and the police officer Haruki Hisatsune are investigating the murder-case. But Haruki falls in love with Tamiko...
